What is the Architecture ThinkTank?
The comdivision service provider Architecture ThinkTank is a highly interactive architecture event. Experts from VMware based service providers will get together to discuss some of the most complex design scenarios for their personal and customer platforms.
While we start with a welcome dinner the evening before, the real event starts in the next morning to gather all topics etc. and setup groups. comdivision lead architects will also be onsite to assist with the specific scenarios.
Some experts might also present some of their latest design achievements and put them up for discussion.
Most service providers are not in a direct competition. You, as service providers, excel in your own verticals and niche markets, with unique expertise. By sharing knowledge through platforms like the Architecture ThinkTank, they can learn from one another – improving their services and customer experiences.
Agenda
2nd June 7:00 PM: Pre-Event Dinner and a get-together at a local restaurant near the venue.
3rd June 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM Day 1 (incl. lunch): an opening talk will set the stage for the day, followed by group workshops and hands on whiteboard design sessions.
3rd June 7:30 PM: Prime Dinner event for the group at a near by restaurant to continue the discussions and relax after the day.
4th June 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Day 2 (incl. lunch): an opening talk that wraps up results from day 1, and getting into group workshops for day 2. We will also hold a closing session, where each group presents their findings from the day.
4th June 7:30 PM: those who stay for CloudFest or for a return flight the following day can join for another group dinner.
When and Where
June 3rd - 4th, 2024 in Austin, Texas. A detailed location will be shared with attendees.
Who Should Attend?
Lead & Principal Cloud Architects.
No vendors or vendor representatives (except by invitation for specific topics).
comdivision will hand-pick attendees due to limited seating availability. You should expect an answer within a maximum of 3 business days after we receive your details.
Topics will be all around: the VMware Cloud Provider Stack, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Cloud Director, Aria Operations, and surrounding 3rd party tools like backup.
Travel Expenses
Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. comdivision will cover drinks and snacks during the event, as well as lunch and dinner.

This is a sharing event at a level not covered at any other industry event. This is architect developed for architects. There are no vendor sponsorships, and no limited thinking due to predefined templates.
Cost and Content
Each event includes two presentation slots covering various topics and will start with a welcome dinner and include presentations, group sessions, and – of course – meals.
Service Providers who have an active Service Pack Level 2 (SP2) agreement are free to use their yearly voucher for this event.
Cost for non SP2 providers: 2,625 USD or 35 cd:credits.
